Kansas is one of 10 states with the "most room for improvement" in pushing for energy efficiency, according to a soon-to-be released new ranking from the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy.
The ranking is aimed at showing that energy efficiency programs and policies can boost state economies, improve energy stability, and drive technology innovation. The ranking is intended to document best practices, recognize leadership among the states, and provide a roadmap for other states.
The other states in the bottom 10 are: Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, West Virginia and Wyoming.
